Encounter (part 1)

The aliens first appeared in 2001. They appeared in a small fleet around the Earth. The Zentraedi were ready to engage in total annihilation. Something extraordinary happened though, some Zentraedi have come in to contact with Earth T.V. transmissions and decided to help the Earth because of it’s diversity. These Zentraedi migrated to Earth to aid in the first battle of war. They invented Robotech nuclear warheads that would wipe out the Zentraedi fleet. These warheads were launched and were successful…………..but at a cost. The nuclear attack on the aliens caused a lot of damage to the Earth’s atmosphere which devastated the world and formed new countries like New Cross. Two years have passed and Robotechnology has become more advanced and humans are working together to preserve Earth and all humanity. The Zentraedi Elite Destroyers have other plans……………………… A Z.E.D. ship leaves the Z.E.D. home world known as Zar. The ship prepares to make a space fold near Earth. Surrounding the battle cruiser are mini enemy shuttle pods ready for an attack. Their target: New Cross. Z.E.D. Officer- Lord Merix, we will arrive at Earth’s moon shortly. Merix- Excellent, let us hope that the micronians do not detect our arrival. Our attack on New Cross must be swift and efficient. Z.E.D. Officer- Why are we attacking New Cross, your lordship? Merix- Just do as you are told! Z.E.D. Officer- Sorry your lordship, beginning space fold. Z.E.D. are not like the Zentraedi you know. They have intercepted Earth transmissions since their first attack on Earth. They have adapted to life like ways of humans. Love, entertainment, pleasure and other emotions have become a part of them, just as the Zentraedi, that have allied with Earth. Meanwhile at Shadow Base 1, all of Shadow Squadron have gotten use to their new underground surroundings. Specialist- Hey Skyle7, have you heard? Skyle7- Heard what? Specialist- Esc was transferred to another squad and we have some new recruits. Lt. L.A. is meeting with them now in the lounge. Skyle7- All right!!!!!! More pilots!!! L.A. approaches the lounge and see the recruits conversating amongst themselves. L.A.- What’s poppin new Shadow officers? All the recruits stand up immediately and salute L.A. L.A.- Okay now wait a minute, I am not use to being saluted so stop that right now. The recruits laugh at L.A. L.A.- Now that is better, everybody is comfortable now. Okay welcome new recruits Roy123, Caro_G, Gpilot06, and Fireman53. We are happy to have you here and I think all of you will be a big help to our squadron. Well, no sense of standing here looking and admiring me all day……..have a look around and put your belongings in your quarters. Ok……….and welcome to Shadow Squadron again!! Recruits- Thank you sir!!!!! The recruits begin conversating again as they leave the lounge and L.A. starts walking toward the Veritech Hangar. Still amazed at all the mecha he see, he stops at a VF-1S, a Veritech Hovertank, and a Veritech Cyclone all marked “99”. He grins to himself and then hears a very familiar voice. Fastrax- Hello old blue gin buddy. L.A. turns around and begins to frown. L.A.- Commander Fastrax, I guess I should salute you……….but I won’t. Fastrax- Oh come on Lieutenant., you are not still sour about that incident are you? I even modified your new Veritechs………………personally. L.A.- Damn skippy I am still mad!!!!! If you were not my superior officer, I would………. Computer Intercom- Attention all Shadow officers, report to the War Room. I repeat, all Shadow officers report to the War Room. L.A.-We will finish this later, sir. Fastrax- Sure thing, Ace. All Shadow officers begin sitting down, and look at a huge monitor screen before them. Captain Nautica stands before his young squadron and begins to speak.. Nautica- My brave and skilled Shadow Squadron, the enemy threat has arrived. I have a transmission from the CVS Pegasus from our friend. Monitor lights up and Captain Flagg begins to speak. Flagg- Hello Shadow Squadron, the Pegasus has detected a space a couple of light years away. By the coordinates of that fold, it will reach Earth in about 15 minutes. I have some maintenance to do on the Pegasus and will not be able to intercept. This is in your hands now. Good luck. Captain Flagg out. Silence fills the War Room and all of the officers are speechless. Nautica- I know some of you have just arrived here, but our first battle as a squadron is about to commence. Commander Fastrax, you Gpilot06, KilroyLeader, B-Wing, Zor Alpha and Caro_G will take the aerial assault. Lt. Commander Specialistsubject, Silver Hawk, Fireman53, Niscar, and Nei Circuit will take land attack in the Hovertanks. Lt. L.A. and Skyle7, you will stay here and monitor the attack with rest of the officers………..something wrong Lieutenant? L.A. looks in disappointment at the orders he was given. L.A.- no sir……….. Nautica- Good, I will be assiting WinDsoR on another assignment in space. Good luck, oh…….and give them hell!!! Fastrax, you are now in charge of the squadron while I am on this short leave. You are in command. In astonishment and excitement of the Captain’s announcement, the pilots hurry to their flight suits and to their Veritechs. Shadow Computer- Veritech Fighters for Fastrax, Gpilot06, KilroyLeader, B-Wing, Zor Alpha, and Caro_G are fueled and ready for take off. Veritech Hovertanks for Specialistsubject, Silver Hawk, Fireman53, Niscar, and Nei Circuit are fueled and ready for take off. Captain Nautica’s Veritech Fighter is ready for space take off. L.A. looks at the pilots as they get ready to blast off. Specialist- Do not worry mate, your time will come. L.A.- Yeah, Yeah………just do not get shot down. Specialist- You got it!!! Each Shadow pilot has their own runway tunnel for their particular VF, Hovertank, or Cyclone. The runway tunnel ascends upwards until the pilot breaks through the surface hologram barrier. Shadow Computer- Shadow Fighters and Hovertanks launch in 7.……………6.……………5.………4.…….3.…..2.….1.………… VROOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!! FWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH!!!! The erupting sound of thrusters thunder through out the underground base. Fastrax- All right Shadows, let’s go cause some trouble. Gpilot- Hey Commander, these Veritech Fighters are really powerful. Fastrax- I know, I have modified them with some kind of secret formula that Nautica gave me. Looks like it is working more than expected. Kilroy- Where are we going first Commander? Fastrax- My indicator shows activity in Quadrant3. Caro- What the!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!! B-Wing- There already here!!!!!!!! Battlepods engulf the sky surprising the pilots. Zor- Damn it!!!!!! They are attacking from two different locations!!! Fastrax- Come in Specialist, take your pilots to Quadrant 3, we already have some company. Specialist- That is affirmative, Commander. Shadow Hovertanks, change directions to Quadrant 3. Fastrax- Well Shadows………….it is time for some damage. Back at Shadow Base, L.A., Skyle7, Veritech VF-1J, C_Hunter, Roy123, MaceWindu10, Bulletproof….Iwish, and Denieru watch the surprise attack on Fastrax and the others. C_Hunter- I do not think it was a surprise attack………I think the Z.E.D. separated on purpose to divide us. Denieru- That sounds like it to me too. Skyle7- I do not like this at all. I am going to check the sensors for more Z.E.D. L.A.- Hmmmmmmmmm………………… L.A. and Skyle7 look at the Shadow Desert Map Monitor for Z.E.D. activity. Skyle7- What the hell!?!?!?!?! Some more Z.E.D. are heading this way!!!! How is this possible!!!?!?!??!?? Our base is completely undetectable!!! L.A.-That is also what I thought. Better inform Nautica on what is happening. Skyle7 tries to radio Nautica but can not get through. Skyle7- Damn Z.E.D. must be jamming the waves!!!!! What are we going to do L.A.!?!
